How to assign roles and permissions to team members

Introduction

The assignment of roles allows you to control what team members can access and what they can modify within your organization on Cynoia.


Steps

Step 1: Access the organization settings

  1. Click on Organization settings in the lower left corner of the sidebar.

Step 2: Access the teams

  1. In the organization settings, click on the Teams tab.

Step 3: Manage roles

  1. Find the team member whose role you want to change

  2. Click on their current role

  3. Select one of the available roles:

    • Owner: has full access to manage the organization

    • Moderator: can manage settings and oversee content

    • Editor: can create and modify content

    • Viewer: can only view content

Step 4: Confirm the changes

  1. The role change applies immediately

  2. The member will receive a notification

  5. Select the new role
