How to use subtasks to break down tasks (Pro Team Plans)
Introduction
Subtasks help you break down larger tasks into more manageable steps, which improves organization and tracking.
This feature is only available for Pro Team plans.
Steps
Step 1: Open the main task
Access the Projects application
Open the task you want to break down
Step 2: Add subtasks
Locate the Subtasks section
Click on Add a subtask
Enter the details of the subtask:
Title
Description
Assignee
Due date
Priority
Status
Step 3: Manage subtasks
Track progress independently
Update statuses as work progresses
Manage assignments separately from the main task
Step 4: Control completion
Mark subtasks as completed
Track the overall progress of the task through the completion of subtasks
