Time tracking should never slow down your workflow. That's why Cynoia allows you to start the timer directly from the Kanban view, without losing the visual context of your project.

Note: This feature is only visible if "Time tracking" is enabled in your project settings.

Using the quick timer on Kanban

1. Go to your project's Kanban view.

2. Find the task card you are going to work on.

3. On the card itself, you will see a timer icon displaying 00:00:00 (or the time already accumulated).

4. Simply click on the Play (Start) icon directly on the card. The timer will start in real-time.

5. When you're done or moving to another task, click on the Stop button on the card.

Where does the data go?

All time recorded via the quick timer from the Kanban view is automatically saved in the Time Logs tab within the task details. There's no manual entry needed!

This is the easiest and fastest way to measure your actual effort while keeping an eye on the whole dashboard.
