Workspace & Organization Settings are where you define who you are as an organization, who can access what, and how your workspace operates inside Cynoia.

These settings apply at the organization level and affect all members, apps, and data within the workspace.

Only users with the appropriate role (Owner or Moderator, depending on the setting) can access and modify these options.

What You Can Manage from Organization Settings

1. Workspace Settings

This is the identity layer of your organization.

From here, you can:

  • Update the organization name

  • Change the workspace avatar/logo

  • View your workspace URL (your-workspace.cynoia.app)

  • Add and verify a WhatsApp number (optional, used for communication )

This section defines how your workspace appears across Cynoia and to invited members.

2. Organization Information

This section adds contextual details about your organization.

You can manage:

  • Organization description

  • Industry

  • Organization size

These details are mainly used for internal clarity, onboarding context, and future personalization features.

3. Team & Users Management

This is where you control who belongs to your workspace.

You can:

  • Invite new members to the organization

  • View all active team members

  • Assign or change roles per user

  • Disable a user’s access

  • Transfer workspace ownership (Owner only)

Each user belongs to the same workspace but can have different permissions based on their role.

4. Roles & Permissions

Roles define what users can do across Cynoia apps.

Default roles include:

  • Owner

Full access to all organization settings, billing, users, and apps.

  • Moderator

Has the same privilege as an owner but cannot delete the workspace.

  • Editor

Can create and edit content (projects, notes, chat, automation) but cannot manage users or workspace settings.

  • Viewer

    Read-only access across apps.

Custom Roles

You can also create custom roles by defining permissions per app:

  • Organization

  • Projects

  • Chat

  • Call rooms

  • Notes

  • Automation

Each permission can be set to Viewer, Editor, Moderator, or Billing Manager (Applicable only on organization level).

5. Plans & Subscription

This section shows your current plan and available upgrades.

You can:

  • View your current plan (Free, Basic, Pro)

  • Switch between monthly and yearly billing

  • Upgrade or downgrade your plan

  • Compare plan features

6. Billing & Payments

Billing settings allow you to manage everything related to payments.

From here, you can:

  • View billing details and renewal date

  • Change billing period

  • Manage payment method

  • Access invoices

  • See the number of billed team members

Only Owners (or Billing Managers if assigned) can access this section.

How Workspace Settings Affect the Rest of Cynoia

Workspace & Organization Settings act as the foundation for all other features:

  • Projects, Notes, Chat, Automation, and Call Rooms all inherit permissions from roles

  • Storage limits and automation limits depend on the active plan

  • User visibility and collaboration are controlled at the organization level

If something feels “restricted” in another feature, the answer is almost always here.
