If your team often uses the same structure for its projects (for example, launching a marketing campaign or developing software), you do not need to manually recreate the columns, labels, and automations each time.

Templates allow you to reuse your best working structures.

Access templates

To see all the templates available in your workspace:

  1. Go to the Projects section from the sidebar.

  2. In the right panel (Project Space), click on Templates.

  3. Here you will see the list of ready-to-use templates (e.g. Marketing, Software development).

Create a project from a template

  1. Click on Create project (+ Create project).

  2. At the top of the creation window, click on the Apply a project template button.

  3. Select the template that matches your need.

  4. Enter the name, dates, and description of your new project.

Customize the template during creation

The advantage of templates in Cynoia is their flexibility. Before finalizing the creation, you can navigate to the Project customizations tab to adjust the template to your specific need:

  • Project labels: Add or remove labels (e.g. remove the "Design" label if this iteration does not need it).

  • Project columns: Rename, add, or remove workflow statuses (e.g. add a column "Waiting for validation").

  • Automations: Automations related to the template will be automatically integrated into your new project!

Click on Create project: your project is ready and already structured for the whole team.
